The rue des Abbesses is extended by one of those typical Montmartre staircases and leads you directly to the Place du Tertre. The funicular will take you effortlessly at the foot of the Sacré Coeur, The Dali Museum,“Le Bateau Lavoir” or “Au Lapin Agile”, and of course the famous “Le café des deux moulins” from the movie Amelie Poulain, which are only a few minutes, walk away.
